DUE TO THE INCREASE IN POSITIVITY RATES RELATED TO THE OMICRON VARIANT THE FOLLOWING UPDATES HAVE BEEN MADE TO OUR COVID PROTOCOLS:
- We are now requiring ALL patrons to wear a mask, regardless of vaccine status when entering the hospital. Our hospital will now be allowing only ONE client into the building for their scheduled appointment. In addition, any patron that feels unwell, is exhibiting signs of COVID-19 or has tested positive, is kindly asked to reschedule their appointment once they are symptom free and have followed CDC guidelines.
- Clients are asked to call (908)766-4211 when they arrive. Once an exam room is available the client will enter the building and be escorted directly into an exam room where they will remain until the completion of the visit. Please no lingering at reception after all transactions have been completed. If there are no available exam rooms at the time of your arrival you will be asked to remain in your vehicle until we can sanitize the next available room.
- New clients/patients must continue to email the new client form (found under the “forms” link) and any pertinent paperwork no later than 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment. Please send to email@example.com. This will help to minimize the time spent in the exam room.
- Surgical & procedure drop-offs: All estimates and appropriate paperwork will be emailed the day before the procedure and must be signed and returned no later than 6 hours prior to drop off to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are unable to email the paperwork back, you may bring the completed paperwork back at the time of drop-off. This will also help to minimize the time spent in the waiting room.
While we understand that these requirements may not be ideal, we ask that clients be patient, compliant, and kind. These protocols are in place to keep everyone safe, including our staff, so that we may continue to provide care for your pets.
