Updated Covid-19 Protocols

JANUARY 1, 2022

  • We are now requiring ALL patrons to wear a mask, regardless of vaccine status when entering the hospital. Our hospital will now be allowing only ONE client into the building for their scheduled appointment. In addition, any patron that feels unwell, is exhibiting signs of COVID-19 or has tested positive, is kindly asked to reschedule their appointment once they are symptom free and have followed CDC guidelines.
  • Clients are asked to call (908)766-4211 when they arrive.  Once an exam room is available the client will enter the building and be escorted directly into an exam room where they will remain until the completion of the visit. Please no lingering at reception after all transactions have been completed. If there are no available exam rooms at the time of your arrival you will be asked to remain in your vehicle until we can sanitize the next available room.
  • New clients/patients must continue to email the new client form  (found under the “forms” link) and any pertinent paperwork no later than 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment.  Please send to receptionbrah@gmail.com. This will help to minimize the time spent in the exam room.
  • Surgical & procedure drop-offs: All estimates and appropriate paperwork will be emailed the day before the procedure and must be signed and returned no later than 6 hours prior to drop off to receptionbrah@gmail.com. If you are unable to email the paperwork back, you may bring the completed paperwork back at the time of drop-off. This will also help to minimize the time spent in the waiting room.

While we understand that these requirements may not be ideal, we ask that clients be patient, compliant, and kind. These protocols are in place to keep everyone safe, including our staff, so that we may continue to provide care for your pets.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

We're a full-service veterinary office.

House Calls: Please call our office to schedule. All of our doctors offer in home exams for the convenience of your pet and yourself. Sometimes we may have to bring the patient to the hospital if further testing is required. We can help arrange transportation if need be.

Emergency Service: Please call our standard phone line 908-766-4211 to be patched to the doctor on call for the evening/Sunday. The veterinarian on call can meet you at the hospital to examine your pet.

Wellness: Our doctors specialize in dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Dr. Hollo also enjoys farm calls for small ruminants and swine.

Our wellness services include:

Thorough physical exam: Since our pet’s age more rapidly than we do, it is important to have them evaluated more frequently. Regular wellness exams play a critical role in early detection of numerous ailments. These conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Dental disease
  • Cancer
  • Cataracts
  • Corneal Ulcers
  • Asthma
  • Allergies
  • Glaucoma
  • Parasitism
  • Endocrine Disorders
  • Arthritis
  • Heart Disease
  • Kidney Disease
  • Upper Respiratory Disease

Vaccines: All animals should be current on Rabies and Distemper. We recommend vaccine titers in adult animals to check the status on the distemper vaccine. This way we do not booster the vaccine until the individual patient needs it. This reduces vaccine reactions and over stressing the immune system.

Cats who go outside should receive an annual Leukemia vaccine

Dogs should have other vaccines pending on their lifestyle. These include Leptospirosis, Lyme, Bordetella, and influenza. We base this on your pet’s individual lifestyle. Please discuss with one of our doctors at your next appointment.

  • Heartworm testing for dogs
  • Leukemia/Feline AIDS testing in cats
  • Blood work as screenings for older pets or medication monitoring
  • Flea, Tick, Heartworm, and Parasite prevention
  • Individual needs addressed
